Dont grow this just for the garden egg, grow it for the leaves which can be paired with Abacha or used to cook vegetable soup.

Growing:

When to grow: Start seeds indoors in the spring. Transfer out into the garden at the peak of summer.

I recommend the paper towel method for seed germination.

How to grow: Sow indoors 5mm-1cm (¼-½”) deep. Keep soil as warm as possible. Seeds will germinate in 14 days.

Best grown in garden bed.
